Making Homemade Apple Cider Vinegar!

Homemade vinegar requires patience, LOVE, and Respect all the beings!

Vinegar has one of the best NATURAL home remedy for healing!

Here is my story!
My oldest sister came to America for the first time in 2007 to help me to recover from my illness.

Without knowing how to speak English, she was scared to transfer the airplane from the international to the domestic to come to Albany, NY. But, she was determined to come to America to help me to get better. My Korean friend helped to make several emergency cards written in English with Korean translation, such as “Where is the restroom?”, “My sister is very sick, and I need to go to Albany, NY”. “Please help me!”, “I am sorry. I do not understand you”, or “I can’t speak English”.  We were so worried my oldest sister transferring within the airport without speaking English.

Fortunately, my Korean friend who lived in New York City offered that she can have one day off from her work to pick my sister from JFK and go to New York Bus terminal to help my sister to take a bus to come to Albany, NY rather than avoiding transferring. We liked the idea because at least we did not need to worry about my oldest sister wandering around the airport. So, we made an arrangement, and my sister came to Albany by bus with the help of my friend.

My American friend picked her up from the Albany Bus terminal and took her to my house. My American friend was also worried if they could not meet each other since there are so many Asian people around here. But, my American friend told me that it was very easy because my sister and I were alike.

When my sister arrived at my house, she hugged me and told me with tears in her eyes, “Are you OK? You look better than I imagined. I felt better to see you in face.”

When my sister opened her luggage, besides her personal items, there were only two things filled up her bags, “4 year old Kim-Chee and 5 year old homemade vinegar”.

My oldest sister told me, “These two things will help you to recover to get back on your feet. Mother of homemade vinegar will be the best helper for you to clean your body from so many medical surgeries and procedures. I wish I can bring more, but there are so many restrictions on airline baggage allowances.”

My oldest sister makes homemade vinegar all the time.  We grew up watching my grandma and mom made homemade vinegar and soy sauce at home. For your information, soy sauce and fermented bean paste (known as Miso) were originated by Ancient Koreans.

In my childhood, we lived in a traditional Korean house, similar to a hut-like form. Our house had three rooms and a big wooden floor in the center. In the side yard more toward the shady backyard of my house, there was a variety of earthenware clay pots from small to large and from short (as short as 1/2 foot) to tall (as tall as 6 feet). This is called Ong-Gee made of lumps of clay, so we call Hang-Ari, Dan-Jee or clay pots.

The shape of earthenware pots are round, oval or cylindrical with big round mouth. In Korea’s ancient time, these were made from dark clay, neither fired very hot, nor glazed, but later more skillful methods were added. The color of earthenware pots are determined by the iron contained in the clay in addition to the way of burning the earthenware pots.

Some earthenware pots were small, measuring one or two feet; others were higher than my current height and possessed a handle to lift them. The top and inside were glazed with brown, the outside was a deep charcoal-colored brown. In order to access to the shady backyard of my house, we need to pass through the kingdom of clay pots, like a kingdom of earthenware pots. When fresh greens were not available, cabbage and other vegetables were marinated with mixed seasonings and stored in those earthenware pots. Therefore, the process of long term food preservation for the winter months was well developed in my native country.

In autumn after harvesting, we marinated cabbage and other vegetables to preserve and store them in the kingdom of earthenware pots. Also, for long term food preservation, we developed bean pastes and soy sauce made of soybeans and other grains by using a fermenting process, and stored them in the earthenware pots. The shady backyard of my house— the kingdom of the earthenware pots— consisted of bean pastes and soy sauce, a variety of pickles, different types of vinegars, and a variety of different kim-Chees.

Sometimes, the earthenware pots were buried into the ground to preserve the food during severe winter seasons. Thus, the earthenware pots were created for the purpose of food preservation and storage for natural refrigeration meaning natural preservation!

The earthenware pots are the symbol of preservation!

Thus, I have wanted to have clay pots to store fermented foods.  I was once talked to my Native American friend that I want some clay pots to make Homemade Vinegar .  She got me two clay pots a couple of days ago. Oh, YES, now I can make my grandma’s homemade vinegar.

The more I learn about Native American, the more similarities I have found. Now, I believe that Native American were migrated from Asia to America long time ago, but there were more migrations from Korean peninsula to North America on a boat riding the Seaweed highway rather than walking across Siberia and Alaska.

Anyway, now I have two clay pots!

This is the simplest and most basic method making vinegar. Wash well and remove debris. Add them into the clay pot and cover it with top. Wait for at least one year to naturally develop the mother of vinegar and mature the loving flavor of natural vinegar.



There are three bottles here with three different Apple Cider Vinegar making.

Method I: Making Apple Cider from fully ripe apples (Use sweet apples with high-sugar content, such as Gala, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Spy, and Jonagold apples. Cut out the bad parts so that it can be worm-free and blemish-free.

Cut the apples into small pieces and crush them to press. I used Juice Lady to press them.

I put a rice paper (you can use cheesecloth) on the top of the jar to secure and store in shadow area to invite Fruit Flies. Do not close the lids, but cover with fabric or paper so that the mother of vinegar can breathe. Apple Cider Vinegar will be ready in three weeks.

Method II: Cut the apples into small pieces and add to the jar with the mix of lemon. Apple Cider Vinegar will be ready in 100 days.

Method III: Use left over from the method one and more Apple Cider pressing. Add one tablespoon of the mother of vinegar.

Now, we need to store them outside in shadow area to invite Fruit Flies to do their Loving fermenting jobs to feed the mother of vinegar.
Now, we need to wait with HOPE.

For flowers, dropping the petal is the one we need in order to form the seeds~~~because she needs to save all the energy to help the process of seed formation.


Work together for a common goal and help one another achieve it~~~together by dropping one petal at a time!

Dropping the petal may be the hardest thing of all in our life!

Korean Pancake with Nasturtium leaf

This is Nasturtium leaf!

This is an edible flower!  The flower symbolism associated with the nasturtium is victory in battle, conquest and patriotism. Nasturtium literally means "nose-twister" or "nose-tweaker" because it is too hot to twist your nose.  
To me, it is too hot to eat, and to me, it stand out too much.  It is like the negative aspects of patriotism.
Since I wish no harm upon others, I am the No more wars and the No more violence!

One interesting thing about the Nasturtium Flower is the more the sun-exposed it gets, the hotter the taste it gets.   As we all know that patriotic zealots will die for in the name of patriotism.
I firmly believe that the patriotism brings out the most negative impact that has been against World Peace, which is an ideal of freedom, peace, and co-existance across all the beings.  We all need to learn Mutual Respect, not at the expense of others! 

So, for me, I usually add something over this flower to get the semi-partial sun. I usually put them in my salad by mixing with other greens because it tastes better with others! Or I cook with other vegetables. How about making Korean Pancake with Nasturtium leaf?

Korean Pancake with Nasturtium leaf and Carrot

• Ingredients for vegetables

1. 1 cup of rough chopped Nasturtium leaf

2. 1 cup of carrots, grated

3. 1/2 cup of onion Julienne

4. 1/2 cup of scallions, root ends trimmed, cut into 2-inch diagonal pieces

5. Nasturtium Flowers for garnish



• Ingredients for Korean Pancake Batter

1cup of filtered water

2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted

1 ts soy sauce

½ ts salt

½ ts sesame oil

½ ts fresh grounded black pepper

Four garlic cloves, crushed and minced (I am a garlic crazy lover. So I used 4 --but you can use 1 or 2 cloves: no offense)

One egg (optional)

Combine all the ingredients and add all the vegetables to set aside at least 1 hour

• Ingredients for Dipping sauce

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon chopped scallions

1/2 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

1/4 teaspoon dried hot red pepper flakes

1/4 teaspoon sesame oil

Coming all the ingredients to make Dipping sauce and keep it in a glass jar with lid for a few weeks in the fridge.



Preparation:

1. Heat a non-stick frying pan with one tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium and high heat.

2. Reduce to the medium heat once it is HOT.  Pour the mixture (about 1/2 cup pancake batter) into the hot frying pan and cook until you see bubbles rising on the surface. Spread or press to make sure that the pancake is spread evenly.

3. Use a spatula to slide under the pancake and flip it over carefully when you see the tiny bubbles and dry out on the pancake surface and the bottom of the pancake is browned

4. Cook on the other side until the top layer is also browned, then transferred to a paper towel to drain the oil.

5. Serve these pancakes when they are fresh and hot. Dip into the dipping sauce. Life is heaven!

Rosemary-Apple Cider Vinegar at home!

I packed 1/3 of the clean jar with fresh rosemary leaves (without woody stem) and add apple cider Vinegar. Leave about 4-6 weeks and use for salad dressing or for rice balls. I also use for my hair rinse~~~this is super good.



This is very simple and easy to make!

... The smell of rosemary is so wonderful, and it makes my house rosemary heaven.

Homemade facial toner!

I have been making my own facial toner for the past two years. This is super easy and very relaxing to make.

I use:

1 cup of rain water (In winter, I get the clean snow water in the Mountain Park where I go for snowshoeing. The clean snow water from the Mountain is the best IMO because it is far from the car and air pollution. You can use distilled water)

1/2 cup of chopped fresh Rosemary, Peppermint and Sage leaves (you can use one or more herbs of your choice~~~and if you only have dried herbs, you only use 1/4 cup of dried herbs)

2 teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar



1. In a small sauce pot, add water and bring to boil.

2. Turn the heat off and add herbs.

3. Let it steep for 20 -30 minutes.

4. I use a paper coffee filter to strain out herbs and put them in my compost pile.

5. Add vinegar and pour into a clean bottle.

6. Keep it in refrigerator, and I use for about one month.

After more than one month of hospitalization in both the Critical Care Unit (CCU) and the intensive care unit (ICU) from my brain aneurysm rupture, I came home with many setbacks ~~~ I could not even walk properly, and I could not sit or stand more than one hour.


When I felt I had NO hope~~~NO life ~~~NO tomorrow, my backyard welcomed me to start a new life~~~a new chapter~~~a new-found appreciation for life~~~a new-found connection to our Mother Earth. By working in the soil, planting seeds, and connecting to our Mother Earth, I dug up the soil and asked myself, "Who am I?" and “What have I done to my body?” I sat down in my backyard and asked myself, "What went wrong?” It took about two years to figure out what went wrong. I realized I was the one who did not listen to my body. I was the one who ate all the quick processed and fast foods for convenience because I was too busy to meet other duties.

I, like everyone else, became a slave of time and money~~~selling the hours of my life to pursue material goods. I had followed the crowd to meet all the material desire and all the societal expectations that had influenced by our society~~~our world. I did not realize what I was doing and how I abuse my body and our Mother Earth. I did not realize so many different layers of selfishness and ego on my body and mind and becoming vain until I became an organic gardener after experiencing a near-death.

After two years of my healing jouney, I learned what went wrong and realized I was the one who can make a difference in my life. 

I started eating healthy foods! I started cooking, which means less store bought foods ~~~less processed foods. I started changing things in my life to see what is needed vs. what is wanted in order to regain and maintain good health physically, mentally, spiritually, etc. I started getting rid of all the stress, improper diet. UNHEALTHY & unnecessary habits and just focused on my health. I decided to reduced my sugar intakes and eat fresh vegetables that I grow.

I have decided to feed my skin the way I eat!  Feed Your Skin the way you eat!
I've been trying to be as natural as possible in my life and my skin. I used to have



Here are some tips how to have healthy skin from me!


1. Cut sugar intakes, store bought foods, processed foods as much as possible


2. Grow Aloe Vera at home and use it whenever you can.

3. This is not a juice to drink. This is the rice liquid!  I save the rice liquid after washing rice to cook. I usually wash my rice three times. I discard the first liquid, but save the second and third rice liquid so that I can use either cooking to make soups or wash my face. Just trust me, washing our face with rice liquid is REALLY good one!

4. RAW honey without chemicals and additives. Raw Honey is the best because it contains a variety of healing properties, such as antimicrobial attributes.  I wash my face with RAW honey once a per instead of using commercial chemical cleaners).  I think it is one of the best cleansers!

5. Baking soda. I use for my face cleansing and exfoliating.

One of the worst atrocities in modern history is the Japanese Army's human experimentation. This is so called ‘Unit 731' or ‘Biological Warfare Unit 731'. This human experimentation is biological medical science using human guinea pigs in ‘live human beings'.



Unlike the holocaust, many people do not know about Unit 731 because America and Japan made a DEAL for exchange and try to hush up the crime against humanity. In my opinion, everyone seems to know about the holocaust during the European chapter, but there are very little things known what actually happened in Asia.



America took advantage of the Japanese research by paying off direct cash payments to obtain the experimental results of ‘Unit 731' in exchange for data and secretly granted immunity from prosecution to Japanese scientists in 1946-1948 under General MacArthur as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces.



On May 6, 1947, Douglas MacArthur wrote to Washington saying that Biological Warfare Unit 731 is NOTconsidered as 'War Crimes'. The investigation was concluded in 1948 after obtaining information from intelligence channels and interviews who worked for Unit 731' according to the report written under the name of General Douglas MacArthur.



The United Nations have now considered officially Unit 731's actions as war crimes, contrary to the report generated by General Douglas MacArthur.



All the scientists or military personnel who involved Unit 731 did not need to stand on trial for war crimes against humanity, but proceeded prominent careers in post-war politics, universities, business, and medicine by taking their data and their experience with them either in the Japan or the United States. With the help of America, Japan has been successfully advanced all the research data based on torture, cruel and inhuman treatment to their next generations besides all the smuggling and stolen artifacts and art treasures from all over the Asia.



This happened during the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937–1945) and World War II, ‘Unit 731' conducted a special project, code-named Maruta (meaning "logs"), committed for biological medical science using live human beings.



There have been some disputes over death toll number, like all other atrocities. According to the 2002 International Symposium on the Crimes of Bacteriological Warfare, the total number of causalities caused by Japan Army Biological Warfare Unit using human experiments is around 580,000. According to other general sources, the total number of causalities caused was possibly as many as 200,000 deaths of military personnel and civilians for only Chinese.



Test subjects were gathered from prisoners of war, anti-Japanese partisans, including infants, the elderly and pregnant women. More than 95 percent of the victims who died in the camp were Chinese and Korean, including both civilian and military; others were prisoners of Russian and Americans or Other Nationalities. Test subjects as the live human victims were given no pain killers and as the scientists or military personnel sliced the stomach open or cut off to get livers or to slice an arm or leg. The military personnel who sliced the live body testified that he heard the victim's screaming.



When the experiment was completed, the victim was left to die. The military personnel testified that after injecting test subjects with various diseases, scientists performed invasive surgery without anesthesia by cutting organs to study the effects of disease on the human body. It was believed that live subjects were used from preventing the decomposition process. Based on a testmony, they could hear all the screaming and crying in pain until the end of last breath.



Japanese would rather not talk about Unit 731, and America would rather hush up for the valuable data exchange obtained using live human beings.



Japanese acted far worse than any other nations~~~in terms of people they killed in genocide exceeding that of the Holocaust Genocide and inhumanity and cruelty worse than Nazi Germany. The inhumanity and cruelty of Japanese not only applied most Asian countries, but also applied Australia and New Zealand.



Among countless Asian Holocaust and war crimes committed by Japanese during thier imperial expansion starting from 1894 to 1945, these are some of the merciless acts: Nanking Massacre in 1937 (death toll estimated between 100,000 and 300,000), Comfort Women (estimated 100,000 to 400,000), Bataan Death March, YELLOW RIVER FLOOD (1938), HONG KONG ATROCITIES (December 25, 1941), THE PARIT SULONG MASSACRE (January, 1942), PHILIPPINES MASSACRE etc. But, the total numbers of causalities caused by Japan died in mines, factories, etc. are unknown.



At the age of 13, my grandma witnessed armed Japanese set the fire at her house while her parents were inside still alive. This massacre of the people was done to get rid of all the influential Korean people in order for Japanese to control Korea during the occupation without hindrance.



My grandmother was shocked and horrified. After the burning of my grandma's house, which her brother also witnessed, the Japanese abducted her only brother. No one knew to where and what he was taken; he never came home.



The 36 years of the brutal and inhumane Japanese Occupation of Korea is a half of my grandma's life. My grandma was beat up by Japanese, and she saw Japanese beating my dad until the near-death. My grandma witnessed Japanese killing and slicing innocent people and some buried alive.



People with the superiority concepts can brutalize other humans terribly and inhumanely, and these brainwashing themes have been largely reflected from their behaviors towards their "Sub-Human" races.



The corruption, crime, crime against humanity, cruelty, and genocide are appeared all over the world by us, human beings—born of women's wombs—but raised by the whole world. Many are in denial but voice forward movement while trying to ignore the truth what really happened.



What will happen when our universe including trees, plants, sea, stars, moon and sun has witnessed innocent people who were sliced alive in screaming and crying to die while these two countries were exchanging and trading ‘the experimental results and hushing about what really happened?



What were in mind when slicing live human flesh, with the unbearable screaming in the background? How much did victims struggling against you?



How did you restrain them? How many ‘LOGs' did you slice when your ‘LOGs' were still alive screaming?



Do you hear the cacophony of screams louder and louder?



Do you hear the echo returning slowly~~~~but getting stronger and stronger?



The more we tried to hide or ignore the real history what actually happened ~~~the louder and louder it gets from the echo of Universe.



The more we tried to suppress the real truth what actually happened ~~~the more and more we regret that simply festers inside in you.



The more you deny the truth~~~the louder and louder it gets. The echo of the Universe is resonating slowly~~~~but it is getting stronger and stronger.



Do you feel the echo of the Universe?



When are we going to end all those Inhumane Atrocities?



When are we going to pay our respect to all those dead souls?



This is TIME to realize we are brothers and sisters!



This is TIME to realize we are family!



We all need to work To-Gether to go through this phase of our time.



We all need to work To-Gether to stop wars and violence and atrocities!



This is the TIME to see things through the eyes of victims.



This is the TIME to feel the tears of the victims!



This is to break the constant occurring through generations after generations.



This is the TIME to keep our reality real, including real history



This is the TIME to stop repeating inhumanity towards another beings~~~both non-human and human beings. We are No better than any other species in the pond of Universe.



This is TIME to move forward with expressing proper apology and heartfelt repentance through the eyes of victims. Because we are family!

Chicory sky-blue flower

This sky-blue flower is Chicory in bloom. Chicory (Cichorium pumilum) is a common type of Lettuce. Chicory roots, leaves and flowers are all edible, and it has been used for medicinal purposes, especially to detoxify the liver.

Like Lettuce, I eat Chicory greens to make wraps with rice or put them in salads.

This bright sky-blue chicory blossom can be sprinkled in salads or used as a garnish.

For Chicory roots, I wash and dry them for making tea in the winter time.

This beauty lives in my backyard for 3 years now and can attract so many little creatures~~~offering her arms outspread as gesture of having wonderful friendship!

Extending her arm is all about sharing Mutual respect for the lives of others!

They are bitter when they are in adult stage or getting older. When they are baby and children stage, they are like lettuce. It is like dandlion. The roots can be used to make teas once dried. My sister loves drinking it over coffee. For me, I drink the root tea for medicinal purposes for cold or reduce bloating feelings.

Everyone knows the story of Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden!



But, do you know who Lilith is, before the creation of Eve?



Lilith~~~Adam's mythological first wife!



I have growing Tiger Lily for four years now at my HaPPy Garden, and the Tiger Lily reminded me of Lilith~~~Adam's mythological first wife. Here is the reason why.



Tiger Lilies are all over at my HaPPy garden~~~front, back and side of my house! They were there before I moved in this house four years ago. Two years ago, I wanted to grow low growing flowers in one section~~~ my left side of the garden~~~ to have only small and tiny ground cover flowers. Since Tiger Lilies grew tall and stood out in that part of garden, I transferred all of them out~~~around 60 roots and gave away all the Tiger Lilies I had from that specific area. But, one small tiny Tiger Lily bulb survived, now she spread and spread~~~ spread many more Tiger Lilies ~~~just like Lilith!



No matter how we try to eradicate or to eliminate, Lilith will survive!



Lilith Will be around here forever and forever, and she will never die!

According to many other myths and ancient historical texts, Eve was NOT Adam's first wife, but Lilith was. According to the legends, some say, Lilith left Adam because she did not want to submit to him. Others say, Adam could not handle this strong opinionated woman and kicked her out.



Because she refused to obey Adam, Lilith was considered to be evil in the image of woman.



Lilith is out of the bible! With her complete absence from Scripture, Lilith is nothing more than a myth. She has to face not only harsh criticism, but also the cruel insulting considering her as an evil woman who can snatch up children from out of the darkness. Some people made jokes on her revenge on the children of Eve or attacks babies at childbirth while others blamed her wrong doings by accusing her of having jealousy.



This is why the origin of the term "lullaby" coming from the name Lilith to prevent snatching away from Evil Lilith.



Is Lilith Evil?



Lilith was out of Bible because Bible authors do not want her strong equality mankind voice, but only kept Eve who was created from Adam's rib~~~ according to the Bible! That is why there are two different creation accounts in Genesis chapters 1-2. Because of the absence of Lilith, the Bible has been faced for the contradictions of two different creation events in Genesis. Some smart Christian scholars have tried to explain this contradiction as one is the physical birth and the other is the spiritual birth.



Hmmmm~~~~with the absence of Lilith????? Is this fair on Lilith?



That is one of many reasons I call Bible authors as sexists against women. It started from Genesis and move to all over both Old Testament and New Testament~~~all over~~~ sexists and racists owning slaves women and treating women as property like cattle, bought, sold, traded, slaughtered . And later, the Bible show how to beat and/or sleep with female slaves besides teaching how much a rapist pay money to the father of the victims while teaching "Loving Your Enemies" in the name of God and love at the same time.



Does this make sense to you? Is this fair to women?



The use of Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden is so crucial for Christians because it is where the concept of "original sin" comes from. Without this story, Jesus wouldn't have had to die for humanity.

Once I had a near-death in 2007, I started gardening. During gardening, I dug up the SOIL and dug up the memories and stories of my family and my birth land.

I asked myself, who am I?

During recovery, I call healing process, which is equal to “peeling the onion”! I have searched for underlying causes and looking deeper and deeper to find my true self. Peeling off the onion was a learning process, like a baby learning how to take the first step. I have learned that pain and suffering provide an opportunity for us to find out who we really are. Persistently searching for my soul beneath layers of my personality, I discovered who I was, where I came from, and what I am destined to be.

During healing, I have reconnected to the nature and our mother earth, using back-to-basics and back-to-nature gardening~~~cooking and healing.

To this date, I have had only several brain-related surgeries, and I have only some setbacks. The biggest change in my life after my life being near-death experience and gardening would not take things for granted, which make me appreciate my life more and live every day to the fullest. My healing journey has made me live everyday as if it were my last day. I am different as search for underlying causes and look deeper and deeper to find truth in a logical way. My healing journey has been beautiful. Overall, I feel wonderful!

I have created my own utopia in my home and my yard, where I can breathe freely and experience peace and love.

The change I made is from me~~~inside of me~~~by listening my inner voice and bird’s singing~~~by watching handsome bumble bees and glorious butterflies~~~by becoming the trees and smelling flowers!

I planted the seeds of healing and love and peace in me~~~and in our mother earth!

And now, I offer YOU to plant the seeds of healing and love and peace into our mother earth and make happy garden of the universe.

And now, I am very humbled and richly blessed being a daughter of my mom and a grand-daughter of my grandma.

Do you know why we have two Koreas~~~North Korea and South Korea?

As a South Korean national living in America, my dream is to have No more wars, No more weapon companies, and worldwide peace. I am saddened by the fact that North Korea and South Korea have endless conflict and fighting~~~and the war still continues~~~and the killing still continues over 60 years.

Do you know how we have two Koreas?

I would like to take all of you to the year~~~1945!

The 36 years of the Japanese Occupation of Korea (1910-1945) impacted on Korea very negatively and brutally. As Koreans, it was very difficult to survive. Thousands of Koreans, including several members of my extended family, were raped, tortured and slaughtered by the Japanese until America ended the war with the dropping of the two atomic bombs.

Japanese settlers residing in Korea called my father and our family "Poop Race" or "Sub-Human"~~~ without regret, they can slice live human beings while victims are still alive and screaming.

~~~ without admission of guilt, Japanese justify these brutal actions of murdering and slaughtering by labeling those they torture and kill as "Sub-Human".

~~~ without sorrow, Japanese can call live human body as ‘LOGs' to depersonalize the victims.

~~~ without fear of reprisal, Japanese can cut live human body to conduct live-body experiments administered by Unit 731, Japan's Biological War Crimes & Human Experiments.

~~~ without guilt, Japanese can kidnap young girls and use as sex-slaves forcing 15 to over fifty Heavenly Emperor's soldiers per day.

~~~ without being sorry, Japanese can—and are entitled to—murder young girls after kidnapped, raped and beating them death while forcing to be sex-slaves, but Heavenly people have NO mercy for the merciless acts towards other human beings.

On August 6 and August 9, 1945, the Atomic Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were dropped!

On Aug 15, 1945, Japanese finally announced unconditional surrender.

~~~~~~No more atrocities of innocent Korean people. ~~~No more burning houses with people inside. ~~~No more cutting live people's body. ~~~No more using young Korean males for human bullet barricades. ~~~No more young Korean females were used for Comfort Women as sex slaves for Japanese soldiers.

Korean people were hugging each other and screaming for "Korean Independence".

Korean people shouted and wept for JOY.

Korean people run around the villages with the Korean flags. My grandma told me~~~she was there crying and hugging for JOY ~~~my father was there crying and hugging for "Korean Independence"!

But, this joy for Koreans did not last long. Why? Ask America!

On August 17, 1945~~~ two days after Japan's unconditional surrender, General Order No. 1-- Douglas MacArthur made an announcement, which was prepared by the Joint Chiefs of Staff of U.S. military forces and approved by the President of the United States:

"Korea north of 38° north latitude and Karafuto shall surrender to the Commander in Chief of Soviet Forces in the Far East.... Korea south of 38° north latitude and the Philippines shall surrender to the Commander in Chief, U. S. Army Forces in the Pacific."

It's obvious why Korean people would get upset at this division announcement~~~causing civil wars widely with the goal of reunification!

In school we are taught that the North Koreans invaded South Korea on June 25, 1950, without US knowledge of the event. The US then became involved with the dispute on the 29th.

Ironically, some researchers, such as Bruce Cumings, raised many questions about the timing of America's involvement by showing "war plan known as SL-17" dated during the week of June 19, 1950~~~even before Korea War on June 25, 1950.

This division without Koreans' involvement resolved the Korean "conflict". Thousands of Chinese and American soldiers died in addition to the countless Koreans casualties in order for this division to be made possible. After having prolonged treacherous fighting for three years and one month, it "ended" on July 27, 1953 without the signing of a peace treaty.

Why we are two—still crying and still bleeding?

When I grew up in Korea~~~what we have learned in the past about two Koreas from school and media---this division was decided from the Potsdam Conference. Contrary to our common knowledge, there was NO formal discussion or agreement of Korea being two!

After having a near-death experience from my brain aneurysm rupture, I started looking into our history ~~~I researched and read critically from the research papers and historical text books word~~~by word and line by line.

What I found~~~the Potsdam Conference never discussed about Korea being halved.

Even if history text stated that upon Japanese unconditional surrender, an agreement was reached between the United States and the Soviet Union at the Potsdam Conference for the division of Korea. Also, according to the New York Times in October 1946, this agreement was made at the Potsdam Conference. I researched and examined the documentations related to the Potsdam conference, and I read line by line to see if there was any evidence of Korean Division. But, there was none…I could not find any agreement about Korea being halved.

In my research, the Institute of Pacific Relations published a categorical statement in June 1946 that this agreement had been made at Yalta Conference. I looked the documentations related to the Yalta conference, but I could not find any information about Korea being halved.

There was no formal discussion of the agreement reached between the United States and the Soviet Union to split the Korea.

No documentation!

No formal discussion!

How come we have become two Koreas?

So many unanswered questions~~~

Unlike Germany, why one Korea had to become two Koreas? Why not TWO Japans?

How come General Order No. 1-- Douglas MacArthur made that announcement?

Who was behind General Order No. 1-- Douglas MacArthur?

Does history text telling untruth?

Who is behind all these?

Do you know What about now?

So many strange things happening in South Korea~~~in relation to North Korea!

So many truths have been ignored in our history!

Based on my research, before America dropped two A-bombs, Japan already developed and advanced nuclear weapons in two different nuclear centers: one was in Yoshio Nishina's laboratory at Riken, Japan and the other was in Konan, N. Korea, (now called Hungnam). Japan used forced Korean labors to dig and process uranium to make nuclear weapons when Japan was looking for any means to win the war over America.

This revelation started from the journalist David Snell's article in The Atlanta Constitution, "Japan Developed Atom Bomb; Russia Grabbed Scientists", which was published on Oct. 3 1946.The truth need to come out! Before America dropped two A-bombs, Japan already developed and advanced nuclear weapons in two different nuclear centers, one in Japan, and the other in Hamhung, N. Korea. Japan used forced Korean labors to dig and process uranium to make nuclear weapons when Japan was looking for any means to win the war over America. If you would like to get further information, search for Robert K. Wilcox, the author of Japan's Secret War and the journalist David Snell.

Robert K. Wilcox, the author of Japan's Secret War, dug out of the National Archives and showed a clear pattern of frantic wartime expenditures made by Japanese. Mr. Wilcox explained the story of Japan's quest for the atomic bomb and provided credible background along with relevant references to substantiate it. In addition, this book showed Japan's attempts to build uranium separators and plans by the Japanese armed forces to use atomic weapons if the scientists finished them in time.

Even if most researchers and scholars agree its development and existence, most scholars dispute over whether the test was really successful or how big the size was, and how many were involved in making.

For me, it matters for its development and existence no matter the size! Since Stalin was ready to invade Korea to get to the site of the atomic bomb project and their technicians at no cost to Russia, I believe that Japan's nuclear weapon center and uranium deposit played significant roles to become two Koreas.

The truth needs to come out, and it's our right to know the truth!

American military was/is involved heavily in all aspects of the current (and past) Korean situation since dropping two A-bombs in Japan in 1945.

Would you happen to know there are over 106 American military sites in S. Korea out of 823 military bases across 39 foreign countries? Consider the size of South Korea is in an area of 98,480 square kilometers (38,023 square miles)--slightly larger than the state of Indiana. So, American military sites all over in S. Korea!

Upon Japan's unconditional surrender in 1945, without Koreans' participation, America made an announcement of the division North Korea and South Korea.

Thus, I demand that America need to answer why there are TWO Koreas fighting and killing!

Red Brazilian Jasmine (Mandevilla)!

This is a picture of Red Brazilian Jasmine (Mandevilla) ~~~YET without flowers ~~~from my Happy Garden.

About 6 weeks ago, I stopped by a retail store to buy some tools and was passing up a clearance rack~~~saw this plant~~~all dried up and was ready to die.

She was very sad looking, and I felt like she said with her saddened face, "Take me home with you".

I had so many plants already, and I did not have any plan to buy additional pots. I decided not to buy anymore~~~I came to my car~~~I turned on my car.

But, I felt so dragged the way this poor plant appeared to me~~~her saddened face.

~~~I turned off my car~~~I went to the store and checked the price to see if this was reasonable to buy. I got shocked!

The original price was $24.99, but marked down several times~~~AND final price was just $1. I could not believe my eyes because I know this plant is not so cheap.

Tada~~~I got it for $1.

I took her to my Happy Garden!

I gave her new home~~~bigger pot~~~with a full of LOVE compost soil I made ~~~I have been adding my LOVE water and Smile blessings to the plant.

Now, LOOK how healthy she is! Soon, she will be expecting in full blossoms!

Why I planted Red Okra?

The ultimate and the highest LIFE goal is LOVE and Unity, but there are many paths to reach!

We all need to learn to be open minded to reach the ultimate and the highest LIFE goal~~~LOVE and Unity!!
This is my Okra baby growing in Happy Garden~~~my backyard~~~started from seeds!

She is a new addition for this year~~~I never planted Okra before~~I am very excited about this new family.


I had been wanting to adopt babies before I started gardening!

After gardening, I have changed my mind.

Now, I have decided to adopt a couple of new plants every year because they are my family!



The reason of planting Okra was I had one BAD Okra soup experience~~~long~~~long time ago. So, I stuck up with that slimy, sticky, and BAD Okra soup experience and have biased opinions on Okra, "Okra =BAD". And, I closed all the door to Okra!



Late last year, I was involved in a discussion group about my post on what to plant on gardening. One lady told me she is planning to grow Okra and said how delicious Okra is~~~I told her my BAD Okra soup experience~~~She said I should try yummy and delicious fried Okra~~~ another lady suggest I should try the Awesome Southern-Style Okra Soup.



During our discussion, I was thinking~~~why I should have stuck with one BAD experience and closed all the door to Okra?~~~I should explore and exhaust all possibilities~~~further, I should be open-minded on People, Science, Education, Politics, Life, the Universe, and Everything. This is because we all work together to reach the ultimate and the highest LIFE goal~~~LOVE and Unity!



I just need to enjoy my ride on exploring all the possibilities and and staying open!

On Raining Sat, I would like to share one of my favorite photos that I took at my Happy Garden! This photo shows Me and tells Me many life lessons!

Yesterday, I was driving to my friend's house and realized that I drove at 70 miles per hour~~~at the 55 mph speed limit zone on a highway.

I drove faster because I was following other car...s~~~they were faster and faster~~~I was just following the crowd while ignoring all the traffic signs.



When I was aware of the 55 mph speed limit zone, I slowed down to meet 55 mph!



Suddenly, I realized that Life is like driving a car.



We know how to drive~~~We know what to do~~~We know how to follow the traffic signs~~~We know! But we tend to follow the crowd~~~or we tend to look only rear mirror!



In our life, we have signs everywhere: Four directions ~~~Cyclic rotation of the Earth and Moon~~~Gravity of the Sun ~~~ Gravitational Interactions of our universe ~~~ and Four seasons!

Winter~~~Spring~~~ Summer~~~and Fall!

With the process of Rest, Birth, Growth, and Harvest.



Those are the signs we need to follow~~~that is the laws of nature~~~that is the laws of Universe! ~~~that is the circle of life!

There is NO real beginning and NO real end, but only the continuation of life~~~that is the one perfect circle by evolving some million and million years.



Death is not the real end, but resting time for Continuity of new birth.

Birth is not the real begining, but starting time for Continuity to follow the circle of life~~~Continuation~~~.



Do not follow the crowd, but follow the continuation to Circle~~~follow the natural clock from the Mothe Earth!

Heal the Mother Earth!

I hear from so many people who say~~~ we need to heal the earth!


So many people say~~~ we need to Save the earth!

I see so many people who stand up for Oil Spill and all others.



But, I also see so many people who have the preference of having dream of lush yard full of green grass of home ~~~perfect green lawns. This preference has turned into using more lawn- chemical, such as pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers and requires increasing negative attitude against dandelions or clover. Some consider dandelions as little yellow devils~~~enemy~~~WEED!

Some of my American friends and neighbors are using ~~~ weed killer/fertilizer by spraying to kill dandelions ~~~ buying a specialized tool called “A Dandelion Digger”. Others are poaching dandelion by pouring boiling water over dandelion plants~~~burning dandelions by using weed burner torch~~~ pickling dandelion by pouring 5-percent concentration of vinegar against dandelions and other perennial weeds.   There are thousand tips about getting rid of dandelions in order to have a perfect green grass lawn.


Dream of perfect green grass lawns are not safe for people~~~ not safe for pets, not safe for wild living creatures. Lawn chemicals including pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers poison our food, water, land and air artificially~~~unnecessary.

Children's Crusade and Comfort Women are TWO most cruel and Inhumane historical events I can think of!!

World History was not my cup of tea until I had my near-fatal brain aneurysm rupture in 2007. After more than one month of hospitalization in both the critical care unit (CCU) and the intensive care unit (ICU), I came home. But, I was very weak with critical setbacks. When I felt I had NO hope~~~NO life ~~~NO tomorrow, my backyard welcomed me to start new life~~~a new chapter~~~a new-found appreciation for life.

With my feet and my two hands, like roots, connecting with the warmth of the mother soil, I dug up the soil to plant the seeds of love and healing and peace. In the same way I dug up in my garden, I dug up the story of my mother and my grandmother while the history of my birth land, Korea, lingers in the background.

Through the digging, I have realized that my family story is a part of history~~~not separate from it. This led me to expand my study to World History to look for underlying causes. I have looked deeper and deeper to find the root of problems in a logical way. Persistently searching for underlying causes, I had to go all the way to Greek and Roman besides Eastern history from the current. This is how I start studying World History to understand our root problems in the past and present.

During the course of my World History digging, I have learned that there have been countless cruel and inhumane historical events throughout past, which caused thousands of innocent deaths. More importantly, it is apparent that many of these atrocities could have been avoided.

This is the time to open deep wounds in our history that demonstrate the parts of inhumanity and tendencies of human survival through atrocities and its historical bleeding in the past and present.

Of brutal and inhumane historical events, I would like to discuss two brutally bleeding events~~~Children's Crusade and Comfort Women! We need to remember and try to understand how these brutal events came so that we NEVER repeat. Both Children's Crusade and Comfort Women involved the use of children as slaves: the former was for children army-slaves and the latter for children sex-slaves.

Children's Crusade in 1212 happened during Medieval Crusades (1095-1291).

Comfort Women happened during Japanese Imperial Expansion until America dropped two A-bombs~~~during World War II.

Children's Crusade composed entirely of young children to get to the Holy Land and take Jerusalem for the Christians as old as 15 years old while Comfort Women composed entirely of young women including young girls as little as 11 years old.

Children's Crusade was formed after the Fourth Crusade failed. Two groups were made~~~one from France, the other from Germany appeared. Since Church authorities used joining the Crusades as part of the penance which people had to do in order to seek forgiveness for their sins, thousands children answered call or were summoned an army of children to conquer Jerusalem and convert all of Palestine from Islam to Christianity.



Comfort Women were formed after getting international criticism from Japanese Imperial Army's mass rapes, such as Rape of Nanking. Some of whom were only 11 to 16 years old~~~were kidnapped and/or deceived by people working for Japanese to collaborate recruitment~~~turned into sex slaves, servicing 30 to 60 men per day. Japanese soldiers queued in long lines in front of the cubicles called the 'comfort station'. Each Japanese soldier had 30 minutes allotment to be with one comfort woman per visit.



Joining a Crusade was a form of religious devotion and repay spiritual wrongdoing, and it was considered as a reward of seeking forgiveness for their sins. Children became convinced that they would be protected by God and prepared to march without provisions. This was because their faith might be proven pure and their utter dependency on an all-powerful God proven. Their journey called the "Children's Crusade" ended with thousands of children being sold into slavery, badly beaten, or killed.



Like Children's Crusade, Comfort Women were in hunger, beatings, assaulting, violating, and invading for both the body and soul. Comfort Women could not escape from being in the frontline of the war~~~ from being horrible conditions. I have two missing aunts. The only thing we knew was that my two aunts were taken somewhere by Japanese. My grandmother died waiting. But they never came back home. In August 1991~~~a few years after my grandma's death, ONE Korean woman— Hak-Soon Kim — who served as ‘Comfort Women' revealed her horrible experiences during her sex-slave ordeal. From this revealing testimony as the starting point, more women came forward. With tears in their eyes and fears in their hearts, we have learned bit by bit, little by little about Comfort Women.



The estimated number of Children's Crusade was about 100,000 soldiers ~~~ less than 15 years old.

The estimated number of Comfort Women was 80,000 to 200,000 (estimated by Japanese researcher. Chinese researchers estimated as much as 400,000).

In the long history of the Medieval Crusades (1095-1291), capturing Holy Land, Jerusalem, caused devastated people for both Jews and Muslims. Thousands and Thousands of knights, soldiers, and peasants lost their lives... on the march or in Holy Land battle. It goes without saying about the fact that women were raped, and both adults and children were killed brutally. It was rich men's game through armor, helmet, sward, war horse. And the whole purpose was to get the site of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ or Holy (promised) Land, Jerusalem. Who promised the promise land?

In the history of the Japanese Imperial Expansion (1890 -1945), Japanese called all other Asian people including my father and grandma "Poop Race" or "Sub-Human". The reason of this calling was because Japanese were educated and raised with the concept that they had Imperial blood running though their veins, which made them believe that they were superior to any other races. People who have been brainwashed into these superiority complexes can brutalize other humans terribly and inhumanely, and their behaviors often target what they see to be "Sub-Human" races.

~~~ without regret, they can slice live human beings while still alive and screaming and justify these brutal actions by labeling those they torture as "Sub-Human".

~~~ without fear of reprisal, they can cut live human body to conduct live-body experiments administered by Unit 731, Heavenly Emperor's Biological War Crimes & Human Experiments.

Comfort Women experienced not only sexual violence but also institutionalized racism. They were used sex slaves called "comfort women" or "sprit women" for Japanese soldiers~~~at least some Japanese people believed~~~to give powers and spiritual energies to Japanese soldiers in war front. They were transferred to Shanghai, China and Taiwan when Japan was carrying on its war of continental invasion from Manchuria into mid-China via Korea as well as its war against America until Japanese made unconditional surrender due to America's dropping two atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, Aug 15, 1945.



Through these two events, I think that all those unimaginable atrocities were then well-justified at first, but later, they did not even bother to justify.

Most of them did not come back, but died where they were taken.

It was the way things were.

It is the way things always have been throughout history~~~ throughout the past.

Continues even today, both physically and psychologically across the world.

~~~continue to experience injustice and unfairness on our modern society.

I hope that innocent death from Children's Crusade and Comfort Women is remembered and honored, not wasted in vain.

I deeply hope to make sure that no more blood spilled in the name of justice. I deeply hope that there are no more recurrences of these multiple human right violations. I deeply hope that the empowerment of humanity should be the first and foremost issue in human rights.

~~~No more~~~No more ~~~either children army-slaves or children sex-slaves through Children's Crusade and Comfort Women!

Throughout our past from the patriarch, the children and women slave trade has been always occurred and they were treated as property. Throughout the colonial and imperial powers, countless children and women were used, raped, and died inhumanly. Thousands of young people were taken, drugged, beaten and forced into sexual servitude and slavery worldwide.

I feel that those unimaginable atrocities and suffering aren't isolated cases, but the similar violations appear to be an ongoing matter and still continues today.

This is still on-going, even right now

~~~even in the city I currently live in

~~~use illegal immigrants for sex-slaves.

~~~use children to meet the desire of Pedophilia's mental illness.

It is time to remember the victims of our inhumanity~~~to understand through the eyes of victims, especially children in these cases. We as humans are so slow to mature, but we have our hope to educate and learn each other in humane way and respectable way.

This is the TIME to heal those who are still with unbearable tears.

This is the TIME to hug those who are still crying because of past suffering.

This is the TIME to wipe their unbearable tears away.

This is the TIME to fill up the emptiness of their agonizing life with love and understanding.

Let's work together to heal our deep wounds.

Let's educate each other to help the ignorant to see the reality.

Let's hope to have peace in this present world~~~to be peace makers.

What is the most wonderful thing in the pond of Universe?

I would say Mother's LOVE for their children!

Over the weekend, I visited a farm house and stayed overnight to see the stars at a farm house with two friends.

It was amazing that Mother hen hatching TWO eggs~~~so we saw two chicks~~~just born two chicks!

We were cried for JOY for newly hatched chicks!



I was soooooooooo happy to witness Mother hen protects her two chicks under the wings!

When I went near her, she raised all of her fur to be in defensive mode~~~

But, I told her, "Thank you for showing me this amazing and the Most precious moment~~~Giving birth!

She became calmer once I talked to her.

This is the greatest joys!



Just as mother hen protects her chick under the wings, I lived under the umbrella of my mother’s pure and endless love, but covered with her extreme sacrifice.



Thank you all Chicken Mothers!

Thank you all Mothers in the universe!

About two weeks ago~~~in the middle of May, 2011, US veteran Steve House told an Arizona television channel that he and others were ordered to dig a long trench in S. Korea and buried about 250, 55-gallon drums of Agent Orange at Camp Carroll in 1978~~~in S. Korea. Steve House was stationed in S. Korea as an Army heavy equipment operator.



After his claim, more veterans came forward to claim the same issues~~~ buried hazardous chemicals in S. Korea~~~ but different parts of S. Korea. People were/are concerned, VERY SCARED AND WORRIED. I am also concerned as a citizen of the Mother Earth. We have come too far~~~too fast~~~too high. This is the time to slow down and look around to help each other and to protect our Mother Earth.



This all happened last week and this week, and now US and S.Korea have a joint investigation to verify these claims as requested by concerned Korean Officials.



I would like to say Thank You to US veteran Steve House who came forward because of his medical symptoms and because he knew that Agent Orange was bad for people.



Without his revealing his digging and burying experience, we would not know about the hazardous chemical burials!

Born and raised in S. Korea and came to America to study, I have lived in America for 17 years now.



During my seventeen years of living in America since 1994, I see both good side and ugly side of America. I have witnessed good and bad, justice and injustice, fairness and unfairness, corruption and willing to fix corruption of America. I have met wonderful American friends and also have some bad experiences. My overall experience in relation to America has been mostly a positive one.



One thing I would like to point out today is I have noticed that many Americans think that Americans owe their freedom to the US military. I also noticed that many Americans think that US military are in S.Korea to help S.Korea.



In reality, why US military need to be in S.Korea?



Do they use S.Korea to control all other Asian countries?



Or, do they use S.Korea to dump all the hazardous chemical and nuclear wastes?



This is NOT about American people~~~This is about US foreign policy and US military action, which not only affect America, but also negatively affects the whole world.



We as ordinary people are the same and are blinded through media and Bureaucracy.



We all know that Agent Orange and related chemicals are hazardous for people and our environment. If the claim of US veteran Steve House is true~~~we all need to think about people who have lived the areas where US military buried Agent Orange. People have lived there for such a long time around those places without knowing what were buried~~~toxic herbicide Agent Orange.



I consider the act of burying Agent Orange in the foreign soil as treacherous crime.



This is not only problems of people who have lived there, but also American problem.



I think this is the Time to clean up any messes US military have created!



What would you do?



Would you take those toxic chemicals back to America?



We have learned news that US had a plan to build a place to bury nuclear wastes in S. Korea, 2005.



We have to act that Agent Orange must be destroyed and disposed safely since there are many people and veterans who were/are exposed to these agents ~~~some died because of cancer development.



This untold act of our environmental and human destruction caused by US military should seriously be looked and never allow such things from happening again.



I say, Let's all take full responsibility and fix it all together!



I also noticed that many America think that America, as the greatest country, has to lead the way to peace~~~America needs to lead the world.



I think this concept of leading the world has led America into building bigger and bigger military empire ever across our world. This requires more and more military actions with and without Americans' knowing, which have ruled out military action against so many others.



Yes, I want No more wars!
Yes, I want No more violence!
Yes, I want to recover the health of Mother Earth to save life and humanity~~~
Yes, I want to focus LESS on the capitalism, consumerism, and luxury system, but focus MORE on harmony with nature~~~ Mother Earth~~~SOIL.
Yes, I am here to plant seeds of love, healing, and peace in the Happy Garden of Universe.
Yes, I want all of us to Live Well & Live Simple with mutual respect and co-existence, NOT just live better at the expense of others!



Maybe it is the time for America to listen others?
