- I grew up and raised in Korea and came to America to study. In 2007, I had a near-death experience from my brain aneurysm rupture. After more than one month of hospitalization in both the critical care unit (CCU) and the intensive care unit (ICU), I came home. But, I was very weak with critical setbacks. I could not even walk properly, and I could not sit or stand more than one hour. My pain and suffering provided an opportunity for me to plant two apple trees when I felt I had NO hope and NO life and NO tomorrow. By working in the soil, planting seeds, and connecting to mother earth, I discovered who I was, where I came from, and what I am destined to be. My healing journey has made me live everyday as if it were my last day. I do not take things for granted, which make me appreciate my life more and live every day to the fullest. So, I became a city gardener~~~an earth lover and soil healer. I am here to plant seeds of love and healing and peace!
